Abbey Road on the River coming back to Louisville

Abbey Road on the River, the nation’s largest Beatles festival, will return to Louisville for a third year May 24 to 28 with an additional two days of performances, an increased emphasis on emerging bands and a new title sponsor - courier-journal.com.

The festival will feature the first-ever live performance of the “Love” album and will also pay tribute to the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love with a Memorial Day concert featuring the music of the Doors, the Who, Jimi Hendrix and others in addition to Beatles tunes.
