Beatles karaoke kicks off Fifth Third Abbey Road on the River countdown
Huge Beatles fest set for May 26-28

The Kentucky Center will start a countdown to Fifth Third Abbey Road on the River, a huge Beatles festival coming to town Memorial Day weekend, with Beatles karaoke at 11 a.m. Friday on the center's front steps.

The May 26-28 festival will feature more than 75 Beatles tribute bands on 10 stages at the Kentucky Center and the Belvedere, as well as film screenings, speakers, Beatles merchandise and more.

Mayor Jerry Abramson is expected to attend Friday's karaoke event, which will include music by Oldies 103.1 WRKA, 53-cent pizza and drinks from Papa John's and Coca-Cola and the chance to win a three-day pass and front-row seats at Abbey Road on the River.
